Gingerbread House Competition!

BEWARE- TONS OF PICTURES!
Last night was our 2nd annual Gingerbread house contest.  And... guess who won?
WE DID!
I don't know if you remember our first attempt at a gingerbread house (last year), it was horrible! Check it out HERE. I'm pretty sure it collapsed every 10 mins. ahha.  This year we knew exactly what was entitled!
We had so much fun using our creativity, and spending the rest of the night laughing with my family at everyone's houses.

The kids made sleighs.  I love their creations.  They are SO cute!
Kaizley and Ellie:
Gibson and Dawson:
(this is the best pic I could get of them)

Kaizley's sleigh:

Ellie's Sleigh:

Dawson's Sleigh:

Gibson's Sleigh:
His sleigh is packed with gifts.  Isn't the snowman's face so cute?!

Now onto the houses...
Mom and Steve's:
Steve gave up after it had collapsed several times, so Gibson joined Grandma's team.
Their house is complete with a fence and a rodent!
Here is the rodent:

Julie and Payton's:

Jayson and Jeri's:
Theirs is definitely the cleanest!
And ours!

Definitely a fun night!

Oh that looks so fun! We just started this tradition this year. It's so fun to use the same ingredients and watch the difference in creativity unravel. Your house is so cute with the little wreath hanging and the Christmas tree in the window. I also like Jason and Jerry's ice cycles hanging from the roof. Cute houses (and sleighs!)

Great Job Jamie! I am impressed! You do great with real houses why wouldn't you do well with a gingerbread house! Hope you survived Christmas! I am trying. We will need to check in with each other in January!

I was only brave enough to do cookies with the grandkids..but maybe I will try the graham cracker houses. They were all really unique!
